El Perkin

El Perkin is an artist based in the stunning Northern Rivers region of Australia, where her work is deeply influenced by the surrounding natural beauty, especially the coastal environment. Her collection, Elementals, which is licensed to Stupell, features artwork derived from photographs of beach rock pools. Through a unique creative process, El layers images of rocks and water to uncover intricate organic patterns.

El’s passion for photography began in her early teens, eventually leading her to earn a Bachelor of Art and Design from The University of Sydney. Over the years, she has showcased her photographic work in multiple exhibitions. El later expanded her career into graphic design, working predominantly in print for high-profile clients such as The Sydney Opera House and The National Museum of Australia. Currently, El is focused on surface pattern design, drawing inspiration from her photography and illustrations to create distinctive collections. Outside her creative endeavors, El is a devoted mother of four and enjoys practicing yoga.
