Art and creativity have been in Rachel’s bones since childhood. Constantly doodling as though she was born with a pencil and a brush in her hand, it was a no-brainer for her to pursue art as her career.  After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati; Rachel moved to Houston, Texas, where she set up shop drawing, painting, and creating to her heart's content.

Rachel’s work features hand-painted illustrations and patterns using watercolor and gouache.  She is primarily inspired by her imagination and travels.  Botanicals, space, and animal-related subject matters frequently appear in her work, often with a bit of humor and whimsy.  In her free time, you will find Rachel traveling and hiking with her husband Ricky, reading a book, or walking with her pup-assistant Frankie.
